Abroad With Jewish Destination Weddings

By Steven Cole

It is never too late to choose that destination that will make an occasion such as this that more memorable. Jewish destination weddings allows one to look at different options before spending a cent and seeing what is on offer at any given time. There are numerous places one can visit that cater for kosher weddings and the like.

If its getting back to roots that is called for then Israel offers the perfect place to visit. One cannot help as a Jew to be attracted to the Kotel to have such an occasion. Be transported back a few thousand years where the forefathers visited this area, erected temples and prayed for their well being.

For those that do not know what a Shawarma is, it is served in pita bread stuffed with meat or chicken and overloaded with different salads, techina and chariff. Charrif is a chilly sauce to spice it up but be careful it can be rather burny. Kosher caterers abound in this part of the world and it is not difficult to procure the right one.

Take a stroll down King George Avenue or take in a fresh orange juice on Rechov Ben Yehuda whilst listening to the sounds of street musicians. Jerusalem is a vibrant city but if its nightlife that is being sought after, then the answer is Tel Aviv. There is so much to do in this neck of the woods and so much to get re established with roots that have been around for thousands of years.

It is a great time to incorporate this trip with a visit to the North of the country and find a base at Tiberius to explore the many wonders of this area. Sit back and relax to a fish dish fished directly from Yam Kinnereth or the Sea of Galilee as it is called in English. Here delicacies are to be had and the Kibbutz experienced felt as one can visit Kibbutz Ein Gev on the shores of this inland sea.

Lake Kinneret or the Sea of Galilee as it is often called is not a far drive from the center of the country. Here Roman ruins abound and one is cast back over time to when it once was inhabited by another nation. One cannot but feel awe as to the genius that were theirs and witnessing it first hand in the construction that still can be seen from days gone by.

If it is a fish meal that is on offer then this is the place to sit down on the edge of the lake and eat some of the finest fish caught directly from it. Kibbutz Ein Gev offers the traveller a place to set up camp whilst exploring the surrounds of the Golan and other towns such as Tiberias itself located on he shores of this inland lake.

It is a time to be remembered for always. Both groom and bride are in for the experience of a lifetime especially if done abroad. With a few clicks one is on the way there.
