The boss of the worldās biggest ad agency received more than twice as much as next-best paid FTSE 100 chief last year, annual report shows
WPPās chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell was paid almost Ā£43m last year, making him by far the best paid boss of a British public company.
Sorrellās salary was Ā£1.15m but his total pay was increased by a Ā£36m long-term incentive plan (LTIP) bonus and a Ā£3.6m short-term bonus. Including pension payments and other items, Sorrell received a total of Ā£42.98m, WPPās annual report shows.
